Troubleshooting for Mac El Capitan

Hi everyone,

I work at a university and downloaded the new pulse secure for remote desktop from how. However, I cannot get a connection. It always disconnects. I set the right configuration for the vpn. However, it goes to safari and opens the university's site, but then I get an error message from the pulse application launcher. It says: Internal Error. Anybody knows if I need to make any system preference changes to my imac for it to work? Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

for macosSierra is worse. does not work at all with horrible messages.. :(
